b. Cleaning/Inspection.
W A R N I N G
Compressed air used for cleaning purposes
must not exceed 30 psi (207 kPa). Use
only with effective chip guarding and
personal protective equipment
(goggles/shield, gloves, etc).

Clean damper and adaptor in hot soapy
water using a nylon brush. Rinse with clean
water and use compressed air to dry.
(2)
Measure distance between index lines (1).
If measurement is more than 1/16 in.
(1.59 mm), replace damper.
(3)
Check rubber member (2) of damper for deterioration and other damage. If damage is found,
replace damper.
(4)
Check spacer and adaptor for signs of wear and other damage. Replace parts failing inspection.
