The race for the tapered shaft bearing is a press fit in
the front cover.
Lift the shaft and bearing out of the center hole of the
swashplate.
Remove thrust plate from its counterbore in the face of
the swashplate. Reach through the center hole in
swashplate and push against exposed edge of thrust
plate. Do not allow part to fall and become damaged.
