Installation.
a.
Engine weighs 1025 lbs (465.4 kg). Attach
suitable lifting device prior to removal to
prevent possible injury to personnel.
(1) Install engine (1) on stand with four
washers (2) and screws (3).
(2) Remove lifting device from two engine
lifting brackets (4).
b. Removal.
(1) Install suitable lifting device on two engine
lifting brackets (4).
(2) Remove four screws (3) and washers (2)
from engine.
NOTE
Follow-on Maintenance:
Install flywheel housing (para 5-20).
Install engine (para 5-8).
