b. Installation.
(1) Fill filter (1) and water separator (2) with
diesel fuel.
(2) Lubricate two seals (4 and 5) and gasket
surface on filter (1) and water separator (2)
with diesel fuel. Install two seals (4 and 5) in
filter head (3).
(3) Install filter (1) and water separator (2).
Tighten filter 1/2 turn after contact.

Follow-on Maintenance: Bleed fuel system (para 4-54).
