(3) Remove four screws (7), lockwashers (8),
and filter head (6) from frame (9). Discard
lo&washers.
(4) Remove nipple (3), reducer (10), and
elbow (11) from filter head (6).
b. Installation.
Adhesive causes immediate bonding on
contact with eyes, skin, or clothing and also
gives off harmful vapors. Wear protective
goggles and use in well-ventilated area. If
adhesive gets in eyes, try to keep eyes open;
flush eyes with water for 15 minutes and
get immediate medical attention.
(1) Apply hydraulic thread sealant to threads of
all fittings and install elbow (11),
reducer (10), and nipple (3) on filter
head (6).
