Materials/Parts
Lockwasher
a. Removal.
(1) Remove screw (1) lockwasher (2), and
cover (3) from instrument panel (4).
Discard lo&washer.
(2) Remove two nuts (5) and cover (6) from
additive instrument panel (7).
b. Inspection.
(1) Check covers (3 and 6) for scratched areas
where paint is damaged and bare metal is
exposed.
(2) Repaint damaged areas as necessary
according to TM 43-1039, Painting
Instructions for Field Use.
c. Installation.
(1) Install cover (6) on instrument panel (4)
with two nuts (5).
(2) Install cover (3) with lockwasher (2) and
screw (1).
