3. Install the gears on the shafts.

threads.
4. Lubricate the camshaft intermediate bearing journals.
Then place the two halves of each intermediate bearing

two lock rings. Assemble each lock ring with the gap

1. Install new end plugs in the camshaft. Press the
plugs in to a depth of 1.940 " to 2.060 " (Fig. 12).
