(4) Open the drain valve. Allow all admixture to drain out.
(5) Close the drain valve.
b. Flush.
NOTE
Some admixtures require a special cleaning agent. If you used one of these admixtures, flush the
system with the cleaning agent. Then flush it with water.
(1) Pour the cleaning agent or water into the tank. Fill the tank about 1/3 full.
(2) Hand tighten the fill cap (turn clockwise). Close the vent on the cap (fig. 3-7).

Air pressure should be approximately 15 psi (103 kPa). Use the regulator handle to adjust it, if

(4) Go to the control area. Manually open the quick-acting valve of the system you are flushing. (Pull out on
the valve stem.) (See fig. 3-9). Release the valve when the flowmeter has been completely rinsed out.
