Left engine door
Material/Parts
opened.
Compound, sealing (item 16, appendix E)
a.
Removal.
(1) Remove dipstick (1) from gauge tube (2).
Carefully remove gauge tube or damage to
tube may result.
(2) If damaged, remove gauge tube (2) from
engine block (3).
b. Cleaning/Inspection.
(1) Wipe all parts off with clean cloth and
inspect for rust and holes.
(2) Replace all damaged parts.
